Lumps: Bad in a mattress, worse in a boob

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, as if you did not know. Every year I do the right thing and get a mammogram. Then I get an intense craving for Mexican food.

Last year, I figured out the connection! It turns out the mammogram machine and the tortilla press are made by the same company. Mystery solved.

You likely know a woman who has had breast cancer. I know several. One of them wrote a memoir about the experience. If you or someone you know is ready for a wild ride of a read, pick up Sex, Drugs, Rock ‘n Roll, and a Tiara (How I Celebrated Kicking Cancer’s Ass) by Beverly Diehl.
